About Us
Welcome to Tennessee Ragdolls! We are a small, family-run cattery located in Jackson, TN. In our eyes, Ragdolls are the “Purfect” companion pet with their well-known docile and affectionate personality along with their breath-taking elegant & beautiful appearance. We devoted ourselves to be part of the community which preserves, maintains & improves the Ragdoll breed. We are dedicated to breed towards the Ragdoll standard by carefully selecting our breeding cats, learning about their bloodlines, & working hard to improve our future generations.
We focus on three main areas in breeding – health, temperament & type. We raise a wide variety of Ragdoll kittens, including blue-eyed Traditional Ragdolls, aqua-eyed Mink Ragdolls, & rare Sepia Ragdoll kittens.
Ragdoll cats make exceptional companions to busy families, or for those living alone. They are social with other pets of all kinds, they are gentle, loving, & attentive cats that will follow you room-to-room, run to greet you at the door, & want to sleep with you. The beautiful plush coat and big plumed tail they develop at 6-8 months of age is easy to care for & will not mat with minimal grooming.

We make no compromises when it comes to health, & make every effort to perform various preventive & detective measurements on our cats & kittens to ensure they are in their best health. All our breeding cats are DNA tested for 120 genetic mutations/ diseases (including breed-specific diseases, such as HCM-RD & PKD) prior to joining our br
We make no compromises when it comes to health, & make every effort to perform various preventive & detective measurements on our cats & kittens to ensure they are in their best health. All our breeding cats are DNA tested for 120 genetic mutations/ diseases (including breed-specific diseases, such as HCM-RD & PKD) prior to joining our breeding program. They also receive periodic health testing (FIV, PCR panels, bloodwork, fecal test, etc.). We always give sufficient time for our breeding queens to recover from their pregnancies before next breeding.

I have spent the past year in particular working hard to improve our Ragdoll lines. We have found that a lot of American Ragdolls have fallen short of the breed standards. We recently imported our first Russian Ragdolls to help bring back the large size, fluffy coat, & beautifully rounded eyes that Ragdolls are so well known for.
