Adoption Polices

• 1. All pet & show quality kittens must be spayed/neutered within 6-8 months after going home.

• 2. All kittens/cats may not be declawed for any reason!
  

• 3. All kittens/cats are strictly indoor cats. They are not to be allowed outside.
  

• 4. All kittens/cats may not be caged.
  

• 5. All kittens/cats must not be abandoned, resold, traded, or given away for any reason. If the cat cannot be kept, it must be returned to us.

• 6. All kittens/cats must not be given the feline leukemia vaccine at any point in time. 

• 7. Tennessee Ragdolls reserves the right of first pick of any litter for our cattery.

• 8. We reserve the right to refuse the sale/placement of kitten/cat at any point in time at our discretion.

By signing the buyer agrees to the following:

1. This cat/kitten is being sold as an indoor cat ONLY. Buyer will provide the cat/kitten with proper nutrition, clean water at all times, and regular and emergency veterinarian care when needed.

2. The cat/kitten will leave the seller's home in good health. The buyer has 3 business days to take the cat to a certified vet of their choosing to have their own exam done. If any serious health/life threatening issues are found, the buyer will contact the seller within 24 hours to request a replacement cat/kitten. Buyer must also provide a letter from their vet stating why the cat/kitten's health is threatened. Some cats get stressed from the move to a new home. This is not a life threatening issue and your vet should be able to help you with any issues from the transfer of the cat. Please quarantine cat/kitten from all other animals until vet visit.

3. Do not allow this cat/kitten to be given a feline leukemia vaccine since they are controversial and pose too many risks. This contract will be void if this cat/kitten is given the feline leukemia or FIP vaccine. The cat/kitten will have age appropriate vaccinations at the time of delivery. The seller does not warranty the above cat/kitten from any adverse reactions against future vaccinations.

4. No returns or refunds because of allergies to the cat/kitten. Please be sure all family members are not allergic.

5. Cat/kitten will come with a TICA certificate of litter registration. If the litter registration certificate is not available at time of delivery, seller will provide it within 1 month. Your cat's individual TICA registration will be provided after proof of spaying/neutering your cat.

6. ANY AND ALL VET BILLS WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

7. Seller agrees to have completed all of the age-appropriate vaccinations. A copy of the cat/kitten's health record will be given to the buyer at the time of delivery. Seller acknowledges the animal has no known disease, illness, congenital or hereditary condition that adversely affects the health of the cat/kitten at the time of sale, unless one is disclosed to buyer. FIP is not covered under this guarantee. Only if said cat/kitten dies within two years of date of birth, from a fatal hereditary or congenital defect, will the seller replace the cat/kitten with another cat/kitten of equal value—providing that the seller receives proof of defect in the form of a complete autopsy report by a licensed veterinarian. All vet records need to be provided to the seller.

This cat/kitten is being sold without being fixed. The cat/kitten must be spayed/neutered before 8 months of age or the contract will be void. Registration slip will be provided after proof of spay/neuter is sent to the seller.

Buyer is solely responsible for all vet and record fees associated with this cat/kitten.

Seller's maximum liability to the buyer for all losses, claims, damages, or liability of any kind is limited to the amount paid by the buyer to the seller for the purchase of said cat/kitten. If legal action becomes necessary, the buyer agrees that all legal and/or court proceedings take place in the state/country in which the seller resides. If outcome of legal proceedings rules in favor of the seller, the buyer must pay all expenses, court costs, legal fees, and all lawyer fees incurred as a result of the legal proceedings. Breach of any part of this agreement by the buyer will result in this contract being null and void.
