Please reach out to us at TNragdolls@outlook.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Absolutely! We always welcome visitors.
We will mark you down on our waitlist and then contact you once our next litter has been born. We will continue to update you while the kittens grow. When they reach 4-5 weeks of age, you will get to choose your specific kitten after anyone ahead of you. If you don't find your purrfect kitten, you can always wait till the next litter.
Absolutely. We will usually show you all the available kittens regardless, because you never know who might steal your heart!
We normally allow our customers to choose their kittens at 4-5 weeks. This is when they have begun to develop their own personalities and traits. If you decide to pick out your kitten in person, we will schedule an appointment for you. If you can't come in person, we will send pictures and information on each individual kitten. We give each customer about a week to decide on their kitten before going to the next person on the waitlist.
We do! We require a $200 deposit to secure your place on the waitlist. After you place a deposit, we will contact you once the kittens have been born. We normally allow for around 3-5 spots on our waitlist.
We can't normally do trial periods because of the risk of diseases. We will occasionally make exceptions, depending on the situation.
We understand that circumstances can change. If, for any reason, the cat doesn't work out in its new home, we have a return policy in place. Please contact us, and we will discuss the best course of action.
Absolutely! Deposits never expire and be transferred to any litter until you find your kitten.
Your kitten will be 10 - 12 weeks old. Kittens need that time to grow and learn with their mother and littermates. We will occasionally let a kitten go a week or two sooner, depending on the specific kitten. We may also hold back a kitten a little longer if we feel they need more time with their mother. We will NOT let any kitten go sooner than 10 weeks.
We stand behind our kitten's health 100 %. Each kitten comes with a 2-year health guarantee that covers any hereditary diseases or mutations. See our "Adoption Policies" page for more information.
All of our kittens will receive a thorough vet exam and their first set of vaccinations before going home. Shot records will be provided at the time of pick up.
All of our kittens are also treated proactively with a probiotic for their first week of life. We closely monitor their weight and growth.
We take the health of our cats very seriously. Any new cats are quarantined as they undergo several different tests including a PCR panel, FIV, feline leukemia, and fecal test. Regular cleaning, disinfecting, vet exams, extensive testing, and other preventative methods ensure our cattery remains disease free!
We perform extensive health testing on all of our breeding cats for over 120 different genetic diseases and mutations. We test all of our breeding cats negative for FIV, feline leukimia, PKD, and HCM. We also run frequent PCR panels to scan for viral infections, have routine vet exams for all our cats, and keep everyone up to date on their vaccinations.
We feed and recommend 4health. We feed All Life Stages, but only because we are feeding a wide range of ages. We buy it at Tractor Supply Store.
If you choose to switch your kittens food, we would recommend a well known brand such as Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro-Plan or Beyond, or Royal Canin. Stay far away from brands such as Friskies, Whiskers, or Kit & Kaboodle. Make sure to do your research!
We don't believe in early spaying/neutering. We require our customers to spay/neuter their kittens before 8 months of age.
Ragdoll cats are known for their striking blue eyes, silky long coats, and docile temperament. They are large, affectionate, and get their name from their tendency to go limp when picked up. See our "Ragdoll History" page for more information.
Generally, males tend to be more easygoing, while females may be a bit more independent. However, individual temperament will vary quite a bit.
Ragdolls typically have a lifespan of 12-16 years, given proper care, a healthy lifestyle, and a good diet.
This is a much debated fact, but I have sold several kittens to people who had severe cat allergies to all other cats. If you're not sure, I would recommend coming to meet our cats.
Ragdolls stand apart from other cats because of their docile temperament, striking appearance, unique colors and patterns, minimal shedding, and their extremely social and affectionate nature!
Keep your new kitten in a smaller room for the first few days before introducing them to the rest of the house. Ensure this space is safe and cozy with a litter box, scratching post, toys, and a bed. Ragdolls need human interaction, so make sure to dedicate plenty of time for play and bonding.
Ragdolls have semi-longhair coats that require brushing to prevent matting. A weekly grooming is sufficient. We don't recommend bathing your cat more than twice a year. Ragdolls have minimal shedding coats, especially when well brushed.
Ragdolls must be kept indoors to protect them from potential dangers such as traffic, predators, and diseases, ensuring their safety and well-being.
We would highly recommend a companion for your furry friend! It really depends on the individual cats, but most will be good buddies in 1-3 weeks. Start out with your kitten in a separate room for the first few days. You can use items to scent swap for a day or two.
Then do a controlled meeting with your two kitties. If you're worried, you can put one of them in a carrier. If it goes well, you can let your kitten free, just keep a close eye on them for the first few days. Some of them take to each other right away, while others might need an extra week or so.
Definitely not. Declawing is a horrible experience for cats, and can cause numerous issues later in life, such as arthritis. If you need, look into alternative methods such as claw caps.
Our kittens are raised underfoot in our home and receive daily socialization with people and other pets. They are raised alongside our young children who never want to put them down.
Of course! Most of our breeding cats are listed on our website under the "Kings and Queens" page. We are happy to provide additional pictures and information upon request.
We send each kitten home with a package including a baggie of our food, a blanket scented with their mother's scent, several toys, and a folder including shot records, your kitten's litter registration, and a copy of our health guarantee.
We use and recommend Dr. Elsey's clumping cat litter. All of our kittens will be fully litter trained before going to their new homes.
Our kittens are fed a high-quality, wholesome grain cat food (4Health, All Life Stages) and a can of wet food everyday. All of our kittens will be eating dry food by the time they go home, but we encourage you to continue offering wet food.
We always prefer cash, but will accept PayPal and Venmo as well. You may use a check for placing a deposit, but not for the final amount. You may pay for your kitten at any time before pickup. Any remaining balance will be due at the time of pickup.
We encourage our customers to consider a pair of kittens! They love the company of another cat and will prevent boredom or loneliness. We offer a $200 discount if you choose to buy a second kitten, $300 of a third, etc. Our retired adults are also occasionally available at much lower prices.
Our prices currently range from $14000 to $2100, depending mainly on the color and pattern of the kitten. Our retired adults normally range from $500 to $1000. We reserve the right to alter a specific kitten's price at any time before a deposit has been placed.
The price reflects the quality of breeding, health care, and the overall well-being of our Ragdoll cats. We invest in maintaining high standards to provide you with a healthy and well-adjusted companion.
Ragdolls are 100% worth it! They are a beautiful, affectionate, life-time companion that will provide unconditional love and endless laughter.
Our deposit is $200 and is applied to the cost of the kitten.
Our cattery prioritizes the health, well-being, and socialization of our Ragdoll kittens above anything else. Our cats always come first. We are always working to better the Ragdoll breed, and to provide a smooth and seamless experience for our customers.
All of our cats are registered through TICA under TNrags. All of our kittens come with papers and can be registered.
